Installation Instructions

Portrait Mount for Samsung Frame

Read all instructions first

All instructions and markings on the mounting plate assume TV will be rotated portrait so the top of the TV will be on the right side and The left side will be on top.

1Prep the wall. Mark stud location

2. Measure and mark where you want the top center of the tv to be.

3. Based on size of TV measure down from center mark to where the top of mounting plate will be

  • 43" - 10"

  • 50" - 13 3/16"

  • 55" - 15 3/8"

  • 65" - 15 3/4"

4. Using the center lines marked on the mounting plate, mark you mounting location, make sure the mounting plate is level. The mounting plate can be rotated 180 degrees which shifts the slots giving more opportunity to hit studs. Hitting 2 studs is recommended.

5. Secure plate to the wall using Samsung supplied lag bolts. Note the orientation of the mounting plate and the direction of the slots to the right or left.

6. Prep the Frame TV. Place a spacer on each of the two long vesa bolts.

7. Thread bolts into the top two vesa mounting holes (remember left is now top... you're confusing)

8. Mount the TV on the wall. Make note of the location of the slot on the plate. Align the vesa bolt with the hole in the plate and slide the TV to the left or right and down the slot.

DO NOT LET GO UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THE VESA HARDWARE IS IN THE SLOT

Tips for aligning the TV with the mount.

Use painters tape to mark the top center of the TV on the TV and the wall

Use painters tape to mark the location of the vesa bolt on the side of the TV and the large mounting plate opening  on the wall where the edge of the tv will be

Align the tape on the top and sides, the hardware should slot in easier.
